LEGAL / VERSION 2026-08-27
Terms of Service
Effective: 27 August 2026
1. Operator and scope
KnownAt is operated by Konrad Ciurkiewicz, conducting business under the name Konrad Ciurkiewicz - Web Solutions, registered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), NIP 7952583478, REGON 529617426, place of business: ul. Przemyska 13A, 37-750 Dubiecko, Poland, correspondence address: ul. Małopolska 1/192, 35-620 Rzeszów, Poland (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”).
These Terms govern access to the KnownAt website, account, APIs, downloadable files and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, you enter into an agreement with the Operator on these Terms.
2. The Service
KnownAt provides access to alternative, historical and point-in-time datasets intended for quantitative research, model development and backtesting. Dataset availability, coverage, update frequency and formats are described in the relevant catalog documentation.
The Service is currently a product preview. Preview features, sample statistics and representative datasets may change and must not be treated as production commitments unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Accounts may not be transferred or shared in a way that bypasses an applicable plan or access limit.
4. Data and source licences
KnownAt standardizes and distributes data obtained from third-party and public sources. Source-specific licences, attribution requirements and restrictions remain applicable and will be identified in the dataset catalog where relevant. Access to a dataset does not transfer ownership of the underlying source data.
You may use data within the scope of your plan and the applicable source licence. You may not resell, mirror or redistribute a dataset as a substitute for the Service unless the dataset documentation or a separate written agreement expressly permits it.
5. No investment advice
KnownAt provides data infrastructure, not investment, legal, tax or financial advice. We do not recommend any security, market, strategy or transaction. You remain solely responsible for research conclusions, models, trading decisions and compliance obligations.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent quotas, interfere with data pipelines, introduce malicious code, scrape restricted interfaces, infringe third-party rights or use the Service unlawfully. Reasonable automated use through documented APIs is permitted within the applicable plan.
7. Plans, payment and cancellation
Prices, billing intervals, included usage and overage rules will be shown before a paid purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew for the selected billing period and may be cancelled before renewal. Statutory consumer rights, where applicable, are not limited by these Terms.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free source data or permanent availability of every third-party source. We may modify the Service for security, legal, operational or product reasons. Material changes affecting paid access will be communicated with reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Intellectual property
The KnownAt brand, interface, documentation, software and original transformations are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for trading losses, model performance, decisions based on data, failures of third-party sources or indirect and consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account from Settings. We may restrict or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment, subject to applicable law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Polish courts, without limiting any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available to consumers under applicable law.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Material updates may require renewed acceptance before continued account use. The version and effective date appear at the top of this document.
